Stability Ball Exercise
The stability ball (also known as an exercise ball) has become a staple at health clubs around the world. This large inflatable ball can be used to perform exercises to increase muscle strength, flexibility, and promote cardiovascular health. The stability ball can be used for ab crunches and can also take the place of workout benches when doing bicep curls. Stability balls force an individual to use his/her core muscle groups.
Many of our health clubs have group stability ball classes. These classes are either aerobic in nature or are designed to increase flexibility. Pilates classes often utilize the stability ball to tone muscle and improve flexibility.
